NAAFA (the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance) describes itself as a 'non-profit human rights organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life for fat people'. Their NAAFA Convention in San Diego promised members a week of 'self-empowerment, education, support', and for some, the chance to have some fun.
