Legionnaires endure gruelling commando training in the swampy,
mosquito-infested jungle straddling the Brazilian border.
After completing the infamous assault course at Regina, recruits
are sent into the jungle for a month to test their instinct
for survival.
Hazards are numerous and sometimes deadly; poisonous
snakes, crocodiles, leprosy, malaria, dengue fever, and six-inch
